You don’t have to stay stuck

There were times in my life when I wanted to get violently ill so the weight would melt off after days of not eating and vomiting and purging any other gross thing out of my body.

Finding out that I needed my tonsils taken out when I was 30 was both terrifying and exhilarating. I REALLY didn’t want to have surgery, but after reading how much weight people lost during the experience, I was convinced.

Crazy, right? Instead of trying to lose weight myself, I was willing to rely on an invasive surgery to do it for me. In really, really didn’t think I had the power to change my life in any other way.

So many of us think this way.

Welp, this is just the way it is.

Scan your brain. Where do you feel stuck?

If you’re on this page, I’m guessing the answer has to do with your weight.

Why are you stuck? Because you’ve never done it before?

I love what one of my fellow coaches says about this, “Your past is a teacher, but it’s not a fortune teller.”

It doesn’t matter that you’ve never done it before. That person from your past is gone now. The person you are today and in the future has so many possibilities if you let her believe in herself.

I speak from experience. I didn’t think it was possible to go from 177 lbs to 130 lbs.

No. chance. In. hell.

I was an emotional eater. I needed to eat in order to feel OK about the world (yeah, I was a little dramatic about it).

When I started the weight loss process with my coach, I thought, hmmm… maybe I can get down to 145 lbs. You know why? Because that’s what I had done before.

Let’s really challenge you, she said, go for 135.

Gulp. I hadn’t been 135 lbs since MIDDLE SCHOOL. But I decided to to trust her and go for it anyway.

Day by day of showing up for my goal I started to believe in myself. When it got hard, my coach reminded me of where I was going and why.

Through the process of achieving my impossible goal I opened up so many doors for myself to other seemingly impossible dreams. I’m working in a career that I’m passionate about, I stopped drinking and now have beautiful hangover-free mornings, and I am wildly in love with my fiance.

I became a coach because I want this for other women.

I want this for you. I want to help you become unstuck. To step into a life you love. To live in a body that’s healthy for you. A body that’s energized until you are 100.

Where are you stuck? You know exactly where if you look for it.

Let’s talk about it.
